Hakkaisan Tokubetsu Honjozo
Hakkaisan Brewery: Founded in 1922, situated at the foot of Mt. Hakkai in Niigata. The spring water flowing from the mountain is used to produce its sake. Perfected in small batches using hand-made koi and slow fermentation at low temperatures to produce the finest sake with the highest of standards.
This is Hakkaisan’s classic sake and it has a smooth and mellow taste that you will always find refreshing. You can enjoy it either warm or chilled. When gently heated, the delicate aroma is enhanced.
Sake rice: Gohyakumangoku
Rice-Polishing Ratio: 55% remaining

Tasting notes: easy to drink, not easy to get tired of. Clean, dry, and enjoyable at almost any temperature. This is Hakkaisan’s signature brew. When warmed to goji-rice aroma rises to all occasions.
